A rare and unique place,
Topsail includes close to three miles of Gulf frontage and has been
held in trust by the state as a nature conservatory. Considered by many
to be Florida's most pristine coastal area, Topsail has pure white sand
dunes that reach as high as 50 feet. This beautiful preserve includes
two distinct coastal lakes, Campbell and Morris, and a longleaf pine
forest. It also provides a safe haven for diverse nature flora and fauna.
Facilities and access are understandably limited, so be prepared for
a bit of a walk. You will find the effort worthwhile.
Topsail is located at 7349 Highway 98W, Santa Rosa Beach and is open
daily from 8 a.m. to sunset.
